Abeyance may not be a bliss but it is neither a panacea
Anger
does not solve anything. It spoils relationships and burns down the paths to
success. Cajoling does not yield any result, it only forces one to beg for the
rightful things of your own. You have been trying to be the best and the most
honest citizen of the country. Entrepreneurship may be sparking within you but
when you struggle to finish up the basic works like putting up an application
form online, the system holds you up. The system is user-unfriendly. You run to
the authorities. You plead help. You put up your grievances to solve the
problem. The authority in the chair gives you a friendly smile, give
assurances, only to be puffed up with the next puff of his cigarette smoke, or
spit out his assurances with the phlegm-filled coughs. You wait. You wait for
hours, then for days, then for weeks, and then ........ your patience comes to
an end. One day you ask for the reasons for long delays. Then the person in
authority suddenly turns bossy and authoritative. His skin-deep smile fades and
gets replaced by arrogance and haughtiness. You come back disappointed. Your
friends ask you the reason for your disappointment. You mention the entire
chain of events. Your friend advises you – anger does not solve any problem.
Then what will solve the problem. Begging....., pleading......, bribing..... , giving up your dreams......, Tell me what an honest law-abiding citizen can do. Suffer from anxiety, suffer from depression, and then the world of statistics will count you as one more number suffering from depression and waiting to gather the courage to revolt against the system or gather enough courage to die.
Even
Sri Krishna at one point in time had got angry and came face to face with
Pitamaha Bhishma asking him either to fight the war or not kill innocent
soldiers on the pretext of fighting against Arjuna.
Anger
solves problems.
No one has ever won a war by remaining graceful to his opponent in the face of the war on the war field.
